President's Profile

Charmon Parker Williams, Ph.D.  is the Principal Consultant and President for Parker Williams Consulting which she originally founded in 1994.  She has a notable track record in Organizational Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Leadership Assessment/Executive Coaching, Strategic Planning for Non-Profits, and Process Facilitation.  Her accomplishments transcend a variety of industries in the private, non-profit, and public sectors.

During her career she has achieved results in a variety of leadership roles including Talent Program Manager for Hewitt Associates (a global HR Outsourcing and Consulting Company).   In this role she was responsible for managing programs and processes that supported HR Strategy and Executive Talent Management including talent reviews, key talent retention efforts, succession planning, mentoring programs, coaching, workplace flexibility programs, virtual workforce strategies, talent transition programs, and workforce diversity and inclusion efforts.

Prior to Hewitt, Williams consulted with major corporations and mid-sized organizations.  She was Vice President for the Human Resources Management and Workforce Diversity Consulting Practice at James H. Lowry & Associates.  At Harris Trust and Savings Bank, Williams was a Personnel Officer leading various personnel research efforts and consulting management throughout the Bank on the development and implementation of various talent assessment methods and tools.  For the United States Office of Personnel Management, she was a Personnel Psychologist and consulted with state, local, and Native American tribal governments in establishing and operating their human resources functions.

A published author and speaker on leadership development, career management, and cross-cultural competency, Williams has presented at several national conferences and has created a signature workshop on Personal Branding. She has been a contributing writer for a number of industry related magazines for more than a decade and has been cited in the Wall Street Journal.

Williams is an adjunct instructor in the graduate program for The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and for the University of the Rockies. She has also served as an adjunct professor at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. 

Williams has a Doctorate of Philosophy in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology from Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Syracuse University.
